Previously at Slido - an award-winning audience interaction tool for live Q&A and polling - and, before that, managing and producing conferences for 9 years, Abi has experienced multiple aspects of what it takes to drive innovation in events. Abi loves nothing more than getting underwater and is a keen scuba diver.
Alison is an experienced exhibition and conference marketing professional with 18 years' experience encompassing conferences, exhibitions, marketing and PR. She is as passionate about delivering exceptional events to both exhibitors and visitors as she is about travelling the world in her spare time.
As Marketing Director at Easyfairs UK & Global, she ensures best practice and effective marketing strategies across its event portfolio, including shows run in the UK, France, Algeria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore, China, and the US.
Before joining Easyfairs, Alison spent nine years at Venture Marketing Group working on its exhibitions, conferences, awards and publications, with a particular emphasis on building high level and valuable content across all products. Her early career included roles as a conference producer at Centaur and PR account director.
At age 14, Brian won a speed typing contest and his love for computers and technology was born. After years of playing The Oregon Trail, creating his highschool newspaper in Adobe Pagemaker, and using Napster, Brian pursued a Business Information Systems Degree.
Prior to speaking, he worked for nine years at the Department of Defense where he managed a global team who deployed collaboration and cybersecurity solutions across all branches of the military – which required him to maintain the highest civilian security clearance.
He then pursued his dream job as a technology evangelist for a booming cloud-computing startup, helping companies embrace the rate of change and new ways to innovate.
Brian is currently the Founder of iSocialFanz, which has helped launch digital and influencer strategies with the world’s most iconic brands like Dell, EMC, Adobe, IBM, UFC, Applebee’s, and SAP.

Craig Mathie is Managing Director of Bournemouth 7s Festival, the UK’s favourite sport and music festival. A qualified and experienced Project Manager, Craig leads the team responsible for all elements of the planning and delivery of this truly unique festival, which is fast approaching its 11th edition. Craig is a passionate events man and sports enthusiast who has gained a wide breadth of skills and expertise working on some of the UK’s most celebrated and reputable live events.
A director of and production manager at EnTEEtainment Ltd, Frankie specialises in technical production management, artist liaison and CAD drawing at a variety of events. Mainly working on live music events such as Radio 1s Big Weekend, Reading Festival and BBC Proms in Hyde Park, Frankie has worked her way up from laminating during summer holidays to graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University and being awarded the ‘Rising Star Award’ for the festival industry in 2014. Having worked in a wide range of event types for over 10 years such as fashion shows, corporate parties, product launches and experiential shows, Frankie has recently added live touring to her portfolio.
Hina primarily manages the delivery of a global exhibition programme, and activities supporting client’s presence at flagship industry events the world over. Taking client briefs and working with the Imagination creative team to ensure the right technologies are paired to tell the client's story to their target audience.
Hina has worked in the events industry for over a decade. Her experience is diverse: conference and event organisation, in-house event management venue sourcing, event management, measurement and effectiveness, operations, client relationship management, content development, negotiations, financial management, resource and planning. Hina diverse skill set allows her to breakdown complex briefs ensuring smoothing project planning through to a high-quality delivery.
Hina graduated from De Montfort University in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Arts Management. Initially, she worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland/NatWest, leading a team of 14 in retail banking. Hina began her career in events in 2007 before moving to London in 2009 to join UBM. Her specialist role involved events in the construction and architecture sector, including large scale exhibitions, conferences and hospitality experiences managing all aspects of operational delivery. She made the move to the energy sector in 2011 - focusing on international shows in Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Nigeria and Kuwait – before joining Imagination in 2013.
With a prodigious and unrivalled passion for technology and progression, John has spent the last 4 years’ improving the adoption of event technology for UBM’s EMEA Region, working on various events including CPhi Worldwide, IFSEC International, MedTec Europe and Decorex International before progressing on to managing the global adoption of Technology across the Informa Group, with a focus on improving the End User Experience.
With a 20-year background in and around technology, only rivalled by a 30 yearlong passion for Formula One technology and the racing of course, John considers himself as a strong ambassador for all things technology related.
Scott Cullather has more than 25 years of brand communications and live event experience. He co-founded INVNT in 2008, and under his leadership, INVNT has redefined the way organizations communicate to their employees, customers, and business partners. Across his career, Scott has led teams in the design, production, and execution of hundreds of large-scale B2B and B2C events in more than 40 countries, for dozens of the world's leading brands, companies, and trade associations.
Simon is a Creative Technical Director who consistently drives forward ground-breaking digital projects that are changing the nature of consumer experiences across the globe. He has 15 years of experience working for clients such as the Science Museum, Sony, Canon and Ford.
Always putting customers at the heart of the experience Simon has delivered many programmes of work including integrated live digital experience platforms with personalised content that can be shared with visitors instantly. The experiences he creates always connect the client and the customer while being measurable in real-time.
He has recently been pushing the boundaries of storytelling techniques using immersive technologies to create innovative stories with emotional resonance.
Sophie is an experienced event marketer, having worked with a number of respected organisers specialising in launch events. Over her career, she has launched 11 trade and enthusiast events in sectors as diverse as healthcare management, AI and gaming.
Sophie has first-hand experience in the power of customer insight to shape event strategies that deliver sustainable growth. She is passionate about the role of customer experience in the future of exhibitions.
She regularly authors white papers and shares insight with the industry at conferences around the world, including the Global Visitor and Exhibitor Insights Reports for UFI and SISO.
Prior to joining the exhibitions industry, Sophie worked in corporate events, with a number of well-known brands including Avon Cosmetics and Toyota (where she used to be a client of Rob Fisher!)
Away from work, Sophie is an avid traveller, having ticked off many “off the beaten track” destinations including Djibouti, Turkmenistan and El Salvador. This January, she hit country number 51 - the secretive Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Stephan Forseilles is CTO / Head of Technology and Digital Transformation of Easyfairs. He is responsible for supervising the strategic development of the company's technology solutions and digital transformation. He has been with Easyfairs since 15 years. He currently also serves as vice-chairman of the Digital Innovation Committee of UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry). Stephan was previously Operations Director EMEA, Anti-Piracy, for the Motion Picture Association of America. Previously, he worked for telecom operator Belgacom, first as Operations Director/IT & Network Director for Belgacom’s Internet Service Provider branch, then as Belgacom's Internet Services Director.
